Analog Devices Inc. LTC2341-16/-18 Dual Differential SoftSpan™ ADCs

Analog Devices Inc. LTC2341-16 / LTC2341-18 16- and 18-bit SoftSpan™ Analog-to-Digital Converters are 666ksps, 2-channel simultaneous sampling successive approximation register (SAR) ADCs. The ADCs offer differential, wide common-mode range inputs. Both channels of the LTC234 SoftSpan ADCs can be independently configured on a conversion-by-conversion basis to accept ±4.096V, 0V to 4.096V, ±2.048V, or 0V to 2.048V signals. Designers can disable one channel of the ADC to increase throughput on the other channel.

The wide input common-mode range and 105dB CMRR of the analog inputs enable the LTC2341-16 and LTC2341-18 to directly digitize a variety of signals. This process simplifies signal chain design. In addition to input signal flexibility, these ADCs offer ±4LSB (18-bit) or ±1.25LSB (16-bit) INL, no missing codes, and 95db (18-bit) or 93.4dB (16-bit) SNR. Operating from a low 5V voltage supply, the Analog Devices Inc. LTC2341-16/-18 ADCs are ideal for use in a variety of applications requiring a wide dynamic range.
