MaxLinear Ethernet PHY Transceivers
MaxLinear 1Gb and 2.5Gb Ethernet PHY (Physical Layer) Transceivers feature low power consumption, offer enhanced features, and include industrial temperature range options. They support Auto-Down Speed (ADS), auto-crossover correction, and Power-over-Ethernet (POE). The high-performance transceivers are configurable through pin strapping, MDIO interface, and external flash. The 2.5Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) options increase system bandwidth without changing cables and consume less power than 5GbE or 10GbE versions. The GPY115 and GPY21x devices include interoperability for NBaseT and the new IEEE 802.3bz standard.Features
- Full and half-duplex modes for 10BASE-T(e), 100BASE-T, 1000BASE-T, and 2.5GBASE-T (GPY21x)
- Remote firmware upgradable through external optional flash
