Silicon Labs SiWx917 Wi-Fi® 6 Plus BLE 5.4 Wireless SoC offers the lowest power in the family of Silabs Wi-Fi 6 devices. The SiWx917 is ideal for ultra-low power IoT wireless devices using Wi-Fi, BLUETOOTH®, Matter, and IP networking for secure cloud connectivity. The SoC is optimal for developing battery-operated devices that need extended battery life.
The Silicon Labs SiWx917 SoC includes an ultra-low power Wi-Fi 6 plus Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) 5.4 wireless CPU subsystem and an integrated micro-controller (MCU) application subsystem, security, peripherals, and power management subsystem, all in a single 7mm x 7mm QFN package. The wireless subsystem comprises a multi-threaded processor (ThreadArch®) running up to 160MHz, baseband digital signal processing, analog front end, 2.4GHz RF transceiver, and integrated power amplifier. The application subsystem incorporates an Arm® Cortex®-M4F running up to 180MHz, embedded SRAM, FLASH, AI/ML accelerator, and enhanced PSA-L2 certifiable security engine. The Arm Cortex-M4F is dedicated to peripheral and application-related processing. At the same time, ThreadArch runs the wireless and networking stacks on independent threads, thus providing a fully integrated solution ready for a wide range of embedded wireless IoT applications.
