Texas Instruments TAC5211 High-Performance Mono Audio Codec
Texas Instruments TAC5211 High-Performance Mono Audio Codec has a 2VRMS differential input, 119dB mono ADC and 2VRMS differential output, 120dB mono or 1VRMS single-ended output, 111dB stereo DAC. The TAC5211 supports both differential and single-ended inputs and outputs. The ADC supports both line/microphone input signals with AC or DC coupling options. The DAC outputs can be configured for either line output or headphone loads. The DAC can drive up to 62.5mW into a 16Ω headphone load. The TAC5211 integrates a low-jitter phase-locked loop (PLL), programable channel gain, digital volume control, a programmable high-pass filter (HPF), programmable EQ and bi-quad filters, low-latency, and ultra-low latency filter modes. It allows for sample rates up to 768kHz for both ADC and DAC signal chains. The TAC5211 supports I2S, time-division multiplexing (TDM), or left-justified (LJ) audio formats and can be controlled with I2C or SPI. These integrated high-performance features and a single supply operation make the Texas Instruments TAC5211 an excellent choice for space-constrained audio applications.Features
